Artisan Weddings
We love shooting weddings. Over the years we've photographed hundreds of weddings: indoor weddings, outdoor weddings, church weddings, resort weddings, beach weddings, park weddings, back yard weddings, destination weddings, you name it, if someone was married there, we have the photos.
Our wedding style is based on strong composition and quality lighting; we want your wedding images not to just be striking and beautiful, but to have a certain timelessness, that you won't ever tire of looking at over the years.
We're often asked about our style and the notion of just one "style" for an entire wedding is rather limiting, kind of like painting with just one color. Your wedding photographers need to be good at everything, from documentary to formals, low light to bright sun and everything in between.
While taking photos is mostly in the artistic realm, there's a lot more to being a good photographer than just shooting. There's an awful lot of "business" in a photography business and over the years, we've developed a series of workflows and processes that allow us to not only deliver your wedding photos earlier than most photographers, but your wedding album design too! That's right, your album predesign will be ready at the same time your wedding photos are. As best we can tell, we're the only wedding photographers in Arizona to offer this service.
We rely on sophisticated, custom software and good old binders and paper to keep tabs on all of our workflow and make sure nothing slips through the cracks. While it's not as much fun as shooting, it's incredibly rewarding when you can deliver a baby album to a couple that is still waiting on their wedding album from one of your competitors.
We're also happy to help out in the planning process for your wedding. If you're working with a wedding planner, we can fit into any schedule you decide upon and if you're planning the day yourself, we'll help and share all of our experience with you, so you can make the most informed decisions.
